Wash foundation and concealer brushes weekly; eye brushes every two weeks if used daily.
Use gentle brush shampoo or baby shampoo, rinse until water runs clear, and reshape bristles.
Lay brushes flat to dry with bristles over the edge of a counter so water does not loosen the glue.
Replace sponges and heavily stained brushes that no longer perform evenly.
